Based on experience, a security deposit of $100–200 is required. The amount is fully refundable if the apartment is returned clean. This policy is due to previous experiences with tenants leaving unexpectedly or taking items. The tenant pays for the first and last month. I pay half of the agent's commission upfront and the remaining half if the tenant stays longer than 6 months. This is not a whim but a result of past experience. Please take all of the above into consideration.
